Innovation in Events

?What If! Top Dog Programmes

The challenge

An encounter in 2003 with the world’s largest independent innovation company led to one of Eventure Live’s longest standing relationships.

?What If! (which has offices in London, Manchester, Sydney, Shanghai and New York and works in over 40 countries worldwide) were one of The Guardian newspaper’s Top 100 Employers for 2006/7 and were also awarded the Financial Times ‘Best Place to Work UK’ accolade for two consecutive years, in 2004 and 2005.

?What If!’s challenge was to organise study tours and events that gave executives an opportunity to meet, understand and share the secrets of world-class innovators.

The solution

?What If! TopDog programmes - the world’s leading live business learning programmes. Since 2003, Eventure has implemented two programmes per year (one in Europe and one in the USA).

The typical tour sees delegates visit six companies in five days. Each group typically consists of 25 senior business leaders from a diverse range of industries, including Financial Services, Communications, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing.

Eventure Live’s role is to:

  • Provide an agenda for the week that is logistically workable.
  • Prepare and manage the budget for programme.
  • Procure and manage all transportation, including private jets and ground transportation.
  • Procure and manage all hotels and restaurants for the programme.
  • Manage delegates before and during the tour and help meet their needs.

The result

A popular, renowned and highly valued experience for participants. ?What If! TopDog programmes benefit executives by providing an unrivalled opportunity to look outside their industry and uncover new ideas.

Since 2003, results include:

  • More ideas and insights, of better quality - highlighted by comments and repeat business from ?What If! clients.
  • Renewed energy and enthusiasm among participants.
